As a resident of Knox County, I am writing to express my support for the Frasier Solar Project.

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) announced $438,000 in grant funding for 26 Ohio arts organizations, including the Kenyon Review, which received $15,000. As part of its first round of funding for federal fiscal year 2024, the NEA said it has recommended 1,288 arts grants nationwide totaling more than $32 million.

John “Jack” Kovach Jr., 83, of Delaware passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, December 28, 2023 at the Ohio Living Sarah Moore Home in Delaware surrounded by his loving family.

Sharon J. Gerber, 61, of Sugarcreek, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Union Hospital following a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

A funeral service for Jerry L. Hull, 75 of Utica will be held at 11am on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the Utica Church of Christ, 115 N. Central Ave., Utica with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery.

Ronald M. Hall, 70 of Delaware, and formerly of Mt. Vernon passed peacefully Monday, December 11, 2023 at Sarah Moore Home after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Amber Carpenter gets right to the point with the students in her Principles of Food class at East Knox High School. “I tell the students my basic rule is this: When I demonstrate something, pay attention, ask questions and take notes – good notes. I’m showing you what you need to do,” Carpenter said.

Four students in grades five through eight have earned the right to represent Centerburg Local Schools in January’s Knox County Spelling Bee. They won recent grade-level competition in their district.

Fifteen Morgan Grange members met for a potluck supper and monthly meeting on Friday, December 8, 2023. Master Will Smith presided over the meeting as roll call was taken and minutes were read and approved.

The Northridge FFA chapter recently had 6 of our middle school members compete in their first ever CDE at the Ohio State Fairgrounds on November 30th, 2023.

On the 3rd of December students of the Northridge FFA chapter were asked to help out with the Live Nativity at the Croton Church of Christ.
