Favored East Knox and Crestline, who finished 1-2 during the KMAC regular season in boys’ bowling with 10-3 records, finished 1-2 in the KMAC Bowling Tournament held at Victory Lanes, Galion, Ohio February 11. In the girls’ tournament held the following day, favored Northmor, who finished the regular season at 13-1 with Fredericktown, 10-3, in second, had no trouble in outclassing the field to capture the title. The East Knox boys won by seven pins over Crestline, representing a complete turnaround from last season, in which the Bulldog bowlers went 0-12

Another memorable, for-the-history-books Devil-Dogs match in the long- multi-sport rivalry of Danville vs. East Knox high schools took place Feb. 10 at “The Pound” in Howard. In this varsity basketball game EK’s Shane Knepp put on a scoring clinic with 26 points, but it wasn’t enough to secure the victory, as the underdog Blue Devils beat the favored Bulldogs in a squeaker, 45-44.
