Once more, Dr. Dubusky enthusiastically aided Mr. Steve Farmer in conducting a hematology laboratory session at Mt. Vernon High School.
During the session, students utilized whole blood samples from canine donors to prepare blood smears for assessment. Under the microscope, they identified red blood cells, platelets, and white blood cells.
This marks an annual collaboration between Dr. Dubusky and Mr. Farmer, involving both hematology and dissection labs. Additionally, they have explored the possibility of a few other collaborative projects in the future.
