Nauman named D-5 Offensive Player of the Year

Joining Danville’s linebacker Levi Lyons, who Monday was named Division-VII Defensive Player of the Year, Highland’s junior running back Dane Nauman was named Division-V Offensive Player of the Year on Tuesday by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association, which also selected its All-Ohio teams.

Baker, Hoam KMAC XC Runners of the Year, Hill tops in Golf

Mount Gilead’s Will Baker is the 2022 KMAC boys Cross Country Runner of the Year and Fredericktown’s Elsa Hoam is the girls Cross Country Runner of the Year. In Golf, Bennett Hill of Centerburg took the 2022 KMAC Golfer of the Year honor.
Tyler Johnson earns KMAC Player of the year honors

Centerburg was undefeated at 7-0 in KMAC play, during a 9-2 season that ended with a play-off loss to Columbus Academy. They were led by senior quarterback Tyler Johnson, who was named KMAC Player of the Year. Mt. Gilead’s head coach Mike Reid was named KMAC Coach of the Year for a 4-3 KMAC and 6-5 overall finish.
