Centerburg was undefeated at 7-0 in KMAC play during a 9-2 season that ended with a playoff loss to Columbus Academy. They were led by senior quarterback Tyler Johnson, who was the KMAC’s No. 2 rusher, No. 3 passer and No. 4 TD scorer in conference play and statewide (in all games), he ranked No. 76 in passing yardage and No. 15 in rushing yardage. For his stats and leadership, Johnson was named KMAC Player of the Year. Mt. Gilead’s head coach Mike Reid was named KMAC Coach of the Year for a 4-3 KMAC and 6-5 overall finish.
The Knox Morrow Athletic Conference (KMAC), consisting of the Cardington-Lincoln, Centerburg, Danville, East Knox, Fredericktown, Mt. Gilead, Loudonville and Northmor high school and middle schools, announced the following All-League award winners and team champions. In addition, the KMAC recognizes one senior from every school for every sport as an All-Academic winner. The All-Academic winner must have a GPA of at least 3.5.
