GreenPal announced the launch of its lawn care booking app in Mount Vernon as mowing season begins. The service allows homeowners to book same or next-day lawn care directly from their phones, receiving competitive bids from local, pre-screened professionals.
According to the company, homeowners can enter their address, lawn details, and preferred service date into the app. Local lawn care professionals then review the property using Google aerial imagery and Street View before submitting bids. Homeowners are able to compare pricing, read reviews, and select a provider through the platform.
After each completed service, the professional uploads a time-stamped photo via the app so that homeowners can confirm work before payment is processed. GreenPal reports that 30 percent of its customers are age 60 or older and use the platform for convenience and safety.
Gene Caballero, co-founder of GreenPal, said, "After launching in more than 250 markets, we are excited to help homeowners in Mount Vernon find reliable, local lawn care professionals."
The company states it currently serves over one million homeowners and works with more than 70,000 lawn professionals across more than 250 U.S. markets.
