Three members of Kenyon College’s track teams – one female and two male athletes – were awarded All-Region honors for the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Among the honorees were Kenyon College first-year athlete Paula Soric, sophomore Riley Orth and first-year Tapiwa Gono Phiri.

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the winners of its academic awards for the 2022 season. The Kenyon College Owls earned the NCAA Division III Team All-Academic honor, while Mayo Amorello, Kern Byrnes and Henry Willrich earned the individual Division III Scholar All-America award.

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) completed their ballots for top swimming and diving honors and three Kenyon water stars gained recognition. On the women’s side of the pool, Emmie Mirus and Crile Hart, and for the men, Drew Albrecht were named members of the NCAA Division III Academic All-America At-Large Teams.

The 2022 Division III PING All-America Teams have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America and Kenyon College first-year Armand Ouellette was listed among the honorable mention selections.

The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association announced Wednesday the roster for 2022 Senior All-Star games for NCAA Division I, II, and III. Among the Division III selections was recent Kenyon College graduate Brett Bearrows.

One day after collecting All-Region accolades from two different organizations, Kenyon College senior Alex Gow was named a member of the D3baseball.com All-America team.

Fifty-seven student-athletes were selected to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) 2022 NCAA Division III All-America Team. The announcement, delivered Thursday, included the name of Kenyon College junior Caroline O’Neil, who earned third-team honors.

Two-time NCAA tennis All-America, Daria Beshentseva closed out her collegiate career in a Kenyon Ladies uniform, at the NCAA Division III Singles and Doubles Championships. Extending Kenyon’s impressive string of appearances in the D-3 event, senior Beshentseva and sophomore Eleni Dakos kicked off competition in the national brackets on Friday. The results of their matches, however, didn’t fall in Kenyon’s favor.

Kenyon College senior swimmers Crile Hart and Emmie Mirus were named to the 2021-22 Academic All-District VII Women’s At-Large Team, as selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The award was a first for Hart.

Fourteen athletes for Kenyon College men’s sports were honored with all-team selections. The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) recognized 11 Lord Lacrosse players and their head coach with all-team selections, and two members of the Lords’ golf team and their head coach earned honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Facing one of the top scoring teams in the nation and staring at a three-goal halftime deficit, the Kenyon College women’s lacrosse team played locked down defense in the second half and rallied for a 15-14 win over the Rhodes College Lynx in Saturday’s second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on The Field at Benson Bowl.

The Kenyon College golf team starts competitionthis week in the 2022 NCAA Division III Championship. Kenyon is one of 43 teams in the field, which will battle things out on two courses at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

GAMBIER, Ohio -- In Saturday’s wild championship game that featured an overload of momentum swings, the Kenyon College women’s lacrosse team rallied from a four-goal, first-half deficit to win the 2022 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Tournament title by outlasting the Denison University Big Red, 12-10.Along with the tournament title comes an automatic berth for the Ladies into the NCAA Division III Tournament, which gets under way Saturday, May 14.

The North Coast Athletic Conference Division III college conference named its Athletes of the Week and two Kenyon Lords student-athletes made the list of top performers. Alex Gow was named top pitcher and Mayo Amorello was honored asd top lacrosse player.

The Kenyon College lacrosse program scored two tournament wins, May 4, as both the men’s and women’s teams won their semifinal matches and advanced to the finals. The Lords beat Ohio Wesleyan 12-6 and the Ladies dominated Wooster 20-8.
