This fall, senior students at Centerburg High School played a key role in the success of their athletic teams. Twelve senior football players helped lead their team to Week 13 of the postseason, while senior cheerleaders guided their squad to its first-ever win in a summer competition.
Athletic Director Rich Porter commented on the achievements, saying, "For all sports in general, the kids understand what it takes to be successful. They're all good kids, and I think most of them excel in the classroom as well. I think that those are closely tied together."
Coaches also contributed significantly to these accomplishments. Head Football Coach Andy Colella and Head Volleyball Coach Abigail Boudinot were both named Knox Morrow Athletic Conference (KMAC) Coaches of the Year.
