The Fredericktown Local School District will hold a Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The meeting will take place at the Administration Building located at 117 Columbus Road in Fredericktown.
The agenda for this special board meeting includes several key items. The session will begin with a roll call of board members Nathan Bellman, Donald Falk, Kristine Lindeman, Paul Napier, and Shelly Wenger. The board will then adopt the agenda and approve minutes from previous meetings held on November 11 and November 24.
Public participation is scheduled for 30 minutes, allowing each speaker up to three minutes. Special commendations are also on the agenda, including the approval of donations from various organizations and individuals and recognition of student achievements in the Spelling Bee and athletics.
Reports from both the treasurer and superintendent are expected. The treasurer's consent agenda includes approving the financial report for November 2025. Meanwhile, the superintendent's consent agenda covers several approvals: an educational field trip to Costa Rica planned for March-April 2027; a three-year contract with DataServ for a cybersecurity program; a placement agreement with Western Governors University (WGU) for student teaching experiences; personnel recommendations for the upcoming school year; classroom/field trip volunteers; supplemental contracts for coaches/advisors; and sports program volunteers.
Additionally, January 13, 2026, has been set as the date for both the organizational meeting and regular monthly meeting. Committee reports will be presented by Community Connections, Policy Liaison, Legislative/Advocacy, Finance Liaison, Board Members, Administrative Reports, F.E.A., and O.A.P.S.E.
The meeting will conclude with a motion to adjourn. The next organizational meeting is scheduled for January 13, 2026, at 5:30 PM followed by the regular board meeting.
