Key Reality came storming back with eight runs in the fifth inning to beat Rotary 11-7 in six innings in Knox County Babe Ruth League play on Monday, June 7.
Zac Clow had a hit, two runs and two RBIs; and Toby Burak had two hits, two RBIs and a run to lead Key Reality. Clow pitched the front five innings, allowing five earned runs, to get the win. Burak pitched a scoreless sixth inning.
Aric Lust had two hits, two RBIs and two runs, Gauge Stull had two hits and a run, and William Armstrong scored twice to pace Rotary.
Knox Marine 17, Seavolts 11
Knox Marine jumped out fast with nine runs in the first inning before holding off Seavolts for a 17-11 win on Monday, June 7.
Brody Davis and Devon Whitt scored three runs apiece to lead Knox Marine.
Bryce Kreager, Carson Meyer and Isaiah Columber each scored two runs for Seavolts, which rallied for eight runs in the fifth inning but fell short.
