William Donovan “Bill” Mayer, 94, of Louisville, Ohio, passed away on January 26, 2025, at St. Joseph Senior Living Community, on his 94th birthday. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert Eugene Reischman, 85, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2025, at his residence.

Anthony (Tony) Giampaolo, 85, previously of Mount Vernon, passed away peacefully on Jan. 5, 2025, in his current home of Goodyear, AZ, surrounded by his loving wife of 63 years.

Dixie L. Swadener Gough, 85, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, at her home.

Knox County commissioners have scheduled a public meeting to discuss whether to adopt a resolution banning industrial solar farms in unincorporated areas of the county.

The Knox County commissioners met last Thursday to establish a process for finalizing the 2025 Knox County Comprehensive Plan, which outlines long-term strategies for managing growth, development, and land use across the county. New commissioners Drenda Keesee and Barry Lester joined existing Commissioner Bill Pursel to move the plan forward.
