Mt. Vernon High School boys basketball team secured a victory against Watkins Memorial with a score of 67-62 in a closely contested conference game.
The match took place on December 19 at Mt. Vernon High School.
According to the game's analysis, Mt. Vernon utilized balanced scoring and steady execution in the final quarter to maintain their narrow lead. The Yellowjackets effectively responded to multiple offensive surges from Watkins Memorial and minimized second-chance opportunities for their opponents, ensuring their win.
