East Knox Finishes Season with Young Core, Competitive Effort Despite 2–8 Record | East Knox High School Football/fb

The East Knox Bulldogs concluded the 2025 football season with a record of 2–8 overall and 2–5 in the Knox-Morrow Conference. Despite facing one of the area's most challenging schedules, the team demonstrated moments of progress and determination.

According to reports, both of East Knox's victories occurred during consecutive home games in September. The Bulldogs secured a 27–12 win over Loudonville and achieved a hard-fought 6–0 shutout against Cardington-Lincoln. In these matches, the team's defense played a crucial role, establishing an early tone in conference play.

Although the Bulldogs faced difficulties maintaining momentum towards the end of the season, losing their final five games, they gained valuable experience. The young roster is still developing under pressure, averaging 14.3 points per game and accumulating a total of 143 points throughout the year. Key performances came from emerging underclassmen alongside consistent senior leadership.

Despite not always achieving favorable results on the scoreboard, East Knox remained competitive in several narrow defeats, including a one-point loss to Northridge in their opening game. With ongoing development and returning talent, the Bulldogs aim to leverage this year's experiences to improve their standings in 2026.
