The Danville Blue Devils achieved a decisive victory over Fisher Catholic, securing a 59–8 win in the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) playoffs held in Lancaster. This triumph propels the Blue Devils to a 10–1 record and advances them further into the postseason.

According to reports, freshman quarterback Parker Proper delivered an impressive performance by completing 10 of 12 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns. Junior Nolan Ridgway contributed with 23 passing yards, a receiving touchdown, and a successful extra-point kick. The team's offense accumulated a total of 263 yards, with Camden Horn and Wesley Payne combining for 45 receiving yards. Ridgway's 16-yard touchdown reception was a highlight of the first half.
