Fredericktown concluded a successful 2025 football season with an 8–3 record, advancing to the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Division VI Region 18 playoffs. The team was ultimately defeated by Fairview in a high-scoring first-round game, with a final score of 51–41.

The Freddies demonstrated a balanced performance throughout the season, finishing third in the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference (KMAC) with a 5–2 league record. According to their performance records, Fredericktown achieved notable victories against East Knox (28–19), Danville (33–18), and Loudonville (26–20 in overtime).
