Fredericktown High School is sponsoring a Blood Drive on Monday, Sept. 8.
The charitable event, hosted by the National Honor Society, will be held at Fredericktown High School's gymnasium at 111 Stadium Drive, Fredericktown, Ohio.
"Every donation makes a difference for patients in need, and this is a great way to give back to our community," Fredericktown Local Schools stated.
The public is welcome to drop by and participate anytime between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., but scheduling ahead ensures a more efficient and smoother donation process. To book an appointment, call 1-(800)-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Interested donors may also schedule an appointment by visiting RedCrossBlood.org and typing in FredericktownHS. On the scheduled date, donors may save up to 15 minutes of their time by visiting RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to complete their medical history questions and pre-donation reading. Individuals donating blood between Aug. 29 and Sept. 21 will receive a Red Cross x Peanut designed t-shirt.
"Mark your calendars and let’s show the power of the Freddie family by rolling up our sleeves and making an impact together!" a Facebook post reads.
