E Chestnut Street in Mount Vernon, Ohio, will experience a road closure on October 16, 2025. The closure is due to necessary adjustments to a water valve and repairs of a sinkhole. This closure will affect the stretch between N Gay St. and N Main St.
The City Of Mount Vernon Ohio has announced that the westbound lane will be closed to all traffic, including emergency vehicles. However, the eastbound lane will remain open for travel.
