Mount Vernon to host First Annual Winter Craft Market | Mount Vernon High School Softball/fb

The community is invited to commence the holiday season with the inaugural Winter Craft Market, a fundraiser supporting the Mount Vernon baseball and softball programs.

According to event details, the market will take place on Saturday, November 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Energy Fieldhouse, located at 300 Yellow Jacket Drive. This family-friendly event offers a variety of seasonal shopping opportunities, featuring handmade crafts, baked goods, homemade gifts, and items from independent sellers. Entry to the event is $3 per person.

Organizers are currently seeking local vendors to fill booth spaces and contribute to making the inaugural craft market a memorable success. Interested vendors can contact Courtney Hunt at chunt@mvcsd.us or text 513-490-8349, or reach out to Kate Bush at kbush@mvcsd.us or text 740-644-6879 for booth rental fees and contract forms.

"This is a great opportunity to support our athletes and get some holiday shopping done at the same time," said organizers. "We’re excited to bring the community together in a fun, festive environment."

The Winter Craft Market aims not only as a fundraiser but also as a celebration of community spirit, teamwork, and local talent. Attendees are encouraged to come ready to shop, mingle, and support Mount Vernon’s student-athletes as they prepare for the upcoming season.
