Trevin Harris and Centerburg secure a playoff spot with win against Fredericktown

In the last game of the regular season, the Centerburg Trojans outlasted the Fredericktown Freddies in a 35-21 Trojan victory. 

Centerburg established a dominant lead in the first half, as they went into the locker room with a 28-7 lead. Blane Ball, Trevin Harris, and Chris Marshall all scored touchdowns in that first half for the Trojans.

Fredericktown attempted a mighty comeback in the second half as the teams came from the locker room, scoring two touchdowns. The comeback attempt ultimately failed though as Centerburg was able to score on another Ball to Harris touchdown. 

Harris ended the night as the player of the game in many regards. He ended the night with an astonishing three touchdowns, and a whopping 137 yards receiving on seven catches.

Ball had a great night through the air. He completed 15 of his 21 passes for 192 yards and four touchdowns.  

Marshall rushed for 135 yards on 20 attempts.

On the flip side, Fredericktown had a decent amount of offense, as they completed the game with 240 yards rushing and 130 yards through the air. The Freddies finished the regular season at 500 but still made the playoffs. They will take on Oak Harbor, who boast an undefeated record this season.

Centerburg earned a birth in the playoffs as well with their 7-3 season record, and will take on Reedsville Eastern in the first round this upcoming Friday.
