Speed remains a significant asset for the Mount Vernon Yellow Jackets, as recent player tracking data from Titan Sports has highlighted several notable performances.
According to the data, junior Ben Fitzpatrick, a member of the Class of 2026, achieved a top speed of 22.2 mph. Quarterback Mason Richards, also from the Class of 2026, followed closely with a speed of 21.6 mph. Linebacker Luke Mullins and receiver Darrin Monahan, both from the Class of 2027, each reached speeds of 20.3 mph, alongside defensive end Landon Dawson from the Class of 2028.
Other standout performers included Austin May from the Class of 2026 at 20.1 mph and Bryce Hollenback from the Class of 2027 at 19.8 mph. Running back Dakota Stafford, also part of the Class of 2027, recorded a speed of 19.7 mph. Younger players Jake Hubbard (Class of 2029) and Tariq Wares (Class of 2028) completed the top ten list.
The Yellow Jackets' combination of speed and depth across all grades is expected to be a considerable advantage in the upcoming season.
