The Fredericktown Freddies will look to end the season on a good note this Friday, as they will travel to Centerburg to take on the Trojans.
The Freddies took a hard 31-14 fall against Danville this past Friday, and although they didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Blue Devils 7-0 in the first quarter. It could be a thing to watch and see if they can continue scoring against the Trojans if they get the lead early.
Despite the loss, Fredericktown quarterback Blake Sipes had a decent performance, as he rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown.
Centerburg left their game at home last week with a win, pulling out a dominant 40-6 victory over the East Knox Bulldogs. They came out from the jump on fire, as they established a 27-6 lead before they went into the locker room. The scoring continued through the second half leading to the result.
Fredericktown's loss dropped their season record down to 5-4, while Centerburg is 6-3 on the year. Kickoff for the game will take place at 7:00 p.m.
