The Danville Blue Devils (3-2) fell to the undefeated Northmor Knights (5-0) Sept. 20, 41-6.
The Blue Devils were coming off a 20-8 win against Mount Gilead, while Northmor was coming off a close-call victory against Centerburg.
Northmor had control of the game the entire time, as they went into the half with a 34-point lead.
After the half, Danville quarterback Jacob Hackman gave Danville their only spark of the game, with a 20-yard touchdown run, but that was followed by a failed two-point conversion.
Northmor wasn't fazed to say the least, as the Knights running back, Cowin Becker, took off down the sideline for a 53-yard gain that ended in the end zone.
Danville was simply outplayed, as Aidan Burke, the star running back for the Blue Devils, was held to only 37 yards on 15 carry attempts, and Hackman passed for a merely 88 yards on 12-24 passing attempts.
Northmor quarterback AJ Bower was on fire all night as he passed the ball for 321 yards and a whopping 5 touchdowns.
