The Centerburg Middle and High School varsity cheerleading squad showcased their skills at the 2025 Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Camp, securing several top honors and awards.
According to the event's results, on Day Two, the team earned a Superior Ribbon in the Cheer and Sideline competition, along with the "Banana" award. Additionally, Lexie and Ella G. were recognized with the "Pin it Forward" kindness award for their positive spirit.
Day Three was marked by further achievements as the squad received a Gold Ribbon for their band dance and pyramid performance — being the only team to earn this top distinction during evaluations. Four cheerleaders — Grace, Lexie, Kailee, and Charley — were named All-American Athletes. Kailee also received the "Pin it Forward" award once again. At the spirit rally, Jordan and Emma took first place in the scavenger hunt, while Hannah, Kristen, Ella, and Kailee won first place in the stunt hang drill.
Championship Day concluded with Centerburg cheerleaders claiming first place in the Sideline competition and second place for their camp routine. The team's outstanding performance at UCA Camp reflects their hard work, dedication, and strong team spirit — qualities that continue to make Centerburg proud.
