Donald Ray McDaniel went home to join his beloved wife of 66 years, Jeanie McDaniel. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Don passed away peacefully at his home in Fort Myers on July 9, 2025.

Born on March 11, 1934, to the late Clarance and Blanch McDaniel, Don lived a life rooted in faith, service, and family. He was a lifelong farmer, proudly working the land and raising his family with integrity and dedication.

Don was also a proud veteran, having served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958. He was active in his community throughout his life, serving as a Burlington Township Trustee and maintaining memberships with the Masonic Lodge, Moose Lodge, and the UTK Club.

He is survived by his children: Donald M. (Michele) McDaniel, Steven L. (Stacie) McDaniel, Bradford A. (Anita) McDaniel, and Virginia (Jim) Pringle Wright. He leaves behind a cherished legacy in his grandchildren: James (Brandie) McDaniel, Justin McDaniel, Lindsay McDaniel, Morgan (Hunter) Selmon, Brandon (Morgan) McDaniel, Brody McDaniel, and Aiden McDaniel. Don was also blessed with 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Ann McDaniel, and his brother, Robert McDaniel.

A joint celebration of life for Don and Jeanie will be held on Saturday, September 13, 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Mill Street Grains & Gatherings, 10 Mill Street, Utica, Ohio.
