KNOX COUNTY – For anyone who is healthy enough to donate blood, the American Red Cross is continuing to hold blood drives across Knox County in February. Especially if you tested positive for the coronavirus and are fully recovered, up to four coronavirus patients in need will benefit from donated plasma, redcross.org said.

"Donors are critically needed as COVID-19 cases rise," their website stated, where you can learn more about eligibility and the donation process as well as sign up for a time slot at a local drive. 

The following blood drives still have available time slots as of Jan. 25:

Monday, Feb. 1, 12-5 p.m. — The Glenn A Gallagher Centre, 1451 Gambier Road, Mount Vernon.

Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1-7 p.m. — Martinsburg Community Center, 122 W. Liberty St., Martinsburg.

Thursday, Feb. 4, 12-5 p.m. — The Grand Hotel, 12 Public Square, Mount Vernon.

Friday, Feb. 5, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. — Edgewood Church, 425 S. Edgewood Road, Mount Vernon.

Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1-7 p.m. — Centerburg Church of Christ, 3830 Columbus Road, Centerburg.

Friday, Feb. 12, 12-5 p.m. — The Grand Hotel, 12 Public Square, Mount Vernon.

Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2-7 p.m. — Community Christian Fellowship, 23436 New Castle Road, Gambier.

Thursday, Feb. 18, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. — Moose Lodge, 417 W. High St., Mount Vernon.

Thursday, Feb. 18, 12:30-5:30 p.m. — Memorial Building, 112 E. High St., Mount Vernon.

Wednesday, Feb. 24, 12-5 p.m. — Grand Hotel, 12 Public Square, Mount Vernon.

Thursday, Feb. 25, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. — Knox Community Hospital, 1330 Coshocton Ave., Mount Vernon.

Thursday, Feb. 25, 1-7 p.m. — Utica Church of Christ, 115 N. Central Ave., Utica.
