I joined hundreds of fellow neighbors and Ohioans at OPSB’s public hearing for Frasier Solar on April 4. Over seven hours of public testimony, we heard a lot of views, concerns, and arguments that have been circulating around our community over the last year.

Mary Alice (Sterkel) Arlen, age 81, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, surrounded by her family, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.

William “Bill” Clyde Spaulding, 92, died at home on April 8, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Douglas H. Neely, age 60, of Howard, Ohio, passed away on April 8, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family following a long battle with cancer.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce that Joshua James Kirby, 47, died on April 9, 2024, at home surrounded by the comfort and love of his wife, sons, and family after two years of a heroic battle with a rare brain cancer. What happened to Josh is tragic, but he is not a tragedy.
