The Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County has partnered with the Knox County Park District to offer a new book on the Storybook Trail at Wolf Run Park: “Beyond the Pond” by Joseph Kuefler.

Have you heard of a Fairy Garden Trail? These trails have become increasingly popular as many visitors travel to observe this magical kingdom. It is truly a venue for all ages.

Join the Knox County Park District and local Biologist, Scott Albaugh for an Early Morning Bird Walk on Saturday, April 16, at 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. at Wolf Run Regional Park, located at 17621 Yauger Road, Mount Vernon. Attendees will look, listen and experience bird migration firsthand. Warblers, vireos and other colorful spring migrants are the order for the morning.

The annual youth virtual fishing tournament series hosted by the Knox County Park District, Kokosing Valley Jr Anglers, and THR Creekside Home Inspection is currently taking tournament registrations.
