Knox County Pheasants Forever is excited will be hosting its 17th Annual Youth Day, an event designed to engage young minds with outdoor adventures and hands-on experiences. 

Taking place on Saturday, April 12, this celebration will be held at Campbell's Farm & Sportsman Club, located at 22430 Coshocton Road, Howard, OH 43028. The event kicks off at 9:00 AM, with registration opening at 8:30 AM.

Boys and girls aged 3 to 17 are invited to attend, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and complete a registration/insurance waiver form. Pets, firearms, and personal archery equipment are not permitted, although participants may bring their own fishing poles.

Exciting activities to look forward to includes:

  • Shooting Sports: Archery, rifles, shotguns, and muzzle loaders
  • Outdoor Exploration: Fishing, archaeology, and wildlife displays
  • Creative Crafting: Leatherwork, birdhouses, and terrariums
  • Unique Experiences: Tomahawk throwing, duck hunting, outdoor cooking, and living history presentations
With additional attractions like canine demonstrations, first aid workshops, and hands-on lessons in fly tying, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The event has been made possible thanks to the generous support of various sponsors and partners from the community.

"Buddy's Local Eats from Danville will be the food truck at the event," Knox County Park District announced on Facebook. "Pheasants Forever will cover the cost of ALL food from the food truck." 

East Knox Lions Club will provide a concession stand with snacks that both kids and their families will love.
