The East Knox FFA Urban Soils Career Development Event team recently placed 11th in the state event held Oct. 8 at Three Creeks Metro Park in Franklin County.

Ten members of the East Knox FFA recently attended the 95th annual National FFA Convention held Oct. 26-29 at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis Convention Center and Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis where they attended sessions, received awards, listened to motivational speakers, attended workshops and took tours.

Three East Knox FFA members recently competed in the Knox County FFA Job Interview Career Development Event at Vernon High School on Oct. 20.

The East Knox FFA recently represented the state of Ohio and competed in the National FFA Environmental/Natural Resources Career Development Event held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis in conjunction with the 95th National FFA Convention on Oct. 26-28.

The East Knox FFA recently represented the state of Ohio and competed in the Eastern Regional National FFA Forestry Career Development Event held at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Massachusetts, on Sept. 15-17, 2022.

The East Knox FFA recently competed in the State FFA Forestry Career Development Event held at Hocking College on Sept. 24 where they placed sixth out of a field of teams from across Ohio.

Pursuant to RC 3313.16 and RC 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code, notice is hereby given that a special meeting of East Knox Local School District Board of Education is scheduled to be held on Friday, Sept. 16, at 12 p.m.

The East Knox FFA recently competed in the State FFA Forestry Career Development Event held at Hocking College on Aug. 25 where they placed second out of a field of teams from across Ohio.

Four members of the East Knox FFA recently competed in the state finals of the FFA Nursery/Landscape Career Development Event on April 7 at Delaware Area Career Center in Delaware.

Five East Knox FFA members recently competed in the 2022 Area 3 Envirothon held at Caldwell Lake in Noble County near Belle Valley on April 27 where they placed eighth out of the 16-county area.

The East Knox FFA Agricultural Soils Career Development Event Team competed in the 69th National Land and Range Judging Contest in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on May 3-5, 2022, where they finished in 75th place in the Land Evaluation category.

East Knox FFA officers Hailey Frazee, Josh Henwood and Nic Steinwender recently received gold ratings on their respective 2021-2022 chapter officer books that were evaluated at the District 7 evaluation for the State FFA evaluations.

At the 94th annual Ohio FFA Convention held May 5-6 in the Celeste Center at the Ohio Expo Center, East Knox FFA seniors Trenton Comer and Andrew Poff and junior Ethan Phillis received their State FFA Degrees.

Four members of the East Knox FFA competed April 22 in the State Environmental/Natural Resources Career Development Event hosted at the New Lexington FFA Farm in Perry County, where they placed second out of a field of teams from across Ohio.
