Four members of the East Knox FFA competed April 22 in the State Environmental/Natural Resources Career Development Event hosted at the New Lexington FFA Farm in Perry County, where they placed second out of a field of teams from across Ohio.

Twice now, Donnie Rogers’ good luck has benefited East Knox Local Schools.

Students attending East Knox Elementary School, a K-6 school in Howard Township did better than expected in more grades and subjects than students in higher grades, according to the Ohio School Report Cards for the 2020-2021 school year.

After some tense and emotional testimony from parents and concerned citizens, the East Knox Board of Education voted Thursday to reaffirm the school district’s existing mask mandate.
