East Knox FFA officers Hailey Frazee, Josh Henwood and Nic Steinwender recently received gold ratings on their respective 2021-2022 chapter officer books that were evaluated at the District 7 evaluation for the State FFA evaluations.
East Knox FFA Secretary Hailey Frazee and Reporter Nic Steinwender both had perfect scores to go along with their gold ratings, and Treasurer Josh Henwood only dropped six points with a score of 99 out of 105. East Knox was one of only six FFAs in District 7 to have all three officers rate gold.
The chapter officer book competition is an activity on the state FFA level to encourage chapter officers to keep complete and accurate chapter records. Each of these three members received a gold pin representing their office on stage at the 94th Ohio FFA Convention held on May 6, 2022, at the Ohio Exposition Center and State Fairgrounds in Columbus.
The current system of FFA officer book evaluation started in 2001, and except for one silver-rated book, East Knox FFA has had all three officers rate gold in the state every year since then.
