Local sponsor delivers big check to Junior Golf

Scott Savage, owner of Savage Pools and Patios, one of the Division sponsors for this year’s Mount Vernon Junior Golf League, played golf for Mount Vernon High School and donated a check for $300, to the group, as the young golfers and the league’s coaches got together before play started, for a photo opp.

Summer Crisis Program help available

The Ohio Development Services Agency and Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland Community Action Commission will help income-eligible Ohioans stay cool during the hot summer months. The Home Energy Assistance Summer Crisis Program provides eligible Ohioans assistance paying an electric bill. The program runs from July 1st until September 30th. To apply for the program, clients are required to complete an intake process with Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland Community Action Commission.
