MOUNT VERNON – James E. Sr. and Jeanne Witt celebrated their 60th anniversary at Ariel Foundation Park on Saturday July 9, 2022. A surprise party was hosted by their children, Jim Witt Jr., Joanna Hyde and Julie Wetzel and their families. Along with family and friends, they enjoyed a catered lunch, visiting and reminiscing with everyone who attended. 

They were married on Friday, July 13, 1962, in Cheshire, Ohio at the Cheshire United Methodist Church.

Jim and Jeanne are retired and former owners of Witt Decorating Services.  

They have three children, four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren
