MOUNT VERNON – Diana Lee Bowles, 71, of Mount Vernon passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Ohio Health Mansfield. She was born in Mount Vernon to the late Edward Lee and Eunice Frances (Payne) Cordray.
Diana was member of the AmVets in Mount Vernon. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and making candy. She had worked in the bakery department at Walmart and worked in childcare for many years.
Diana is survived by her children, Mike Cordray and Major Bowles Jr. both of Mount Vernon; one grandchild; brothers, Larry Lee (Janot) Cordray of McConnelsville and Raymond (Michelle) Cordray of Gainesville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Edward and Frances Cordray, Diana was preceded in death by a brother, Leslie Cordray.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022 at the Church on the Rise, 7512 Newark Road, Mount Vernon. The family will receive friends one prior to the service.
