Ingeborg H. Mahn (née Krempin), age 97, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025, at The Ohio Eastern Star Home.
Inge was the beloved wife of 55 years to the late Franz Adalbert Mahn and the devoted mother of Birgitta Lowrie (husband Daryl), Monica Volan (husband Kenneth), Brian Mahn (wife Gina), and Gordon Mahn (wife Lori). She was a loving grandmother to William, Sarah, Jennifer, Katrina, Nathan, Alaina, Brenna, Ethan, and the late Philip, and a proud great-grandmother to Ryder, Rawlee, Roman, Olivia, Emma, Valerie, Elaina, and Theo.
Born into a close-knit family, Inge was the cherished sister of Reinhardt Krempin and was preceded in death by her brother Gunther and sisters Traute and Marilouise.
Her life was deeply rooted in faith and the bonds of family. Inge found joy in the simple pleasures—playing cards with friends, baking, crocheting, and watching goldfinches from her window.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Inge’s memory to The Ohio Eastern Star Home, 1451 Gambier Rd., Mt. Vernon, OH 43050.
