The Knox County Garden Clubs presented a flower show entitled “The Art of Georgia O’Keeffe” during the August Mount Vernon Music and Arts Festival at the Living Center.
After a three-year absence, the Mount Vernon Music and Arts Festival Flower Show will once again be back and sponsored by the Knox County Garden Clubs.
In bloom along the roadside, woods edges or along field fence rows is a beautiful and tall purple, blue or white flower. It has many names, Dame’s Rocket, Dame’s Violet, Mother of the Evening or Sweet Rocket.
