Marjorie Kerr Moore died on April 12, 2025, in Hardeeville, SC, at age 89 following a brief illness. She was the widow of Bert C. Moore, a career Foreign Service officer who was one of the 52 Americans held hostage at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, Iran, from 1979 to 1981.
