Village of Gambier seeks bids for 2026 roadway improvements project

The Village of Gambier announced that it is accepting sealed bids for the 2026 Roadway Improvements Project, with submissions due by June 29 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Bids will be received at the Offices of the Fiscal Officer at 115 Meadow Lane, P.O. Box 1984, Gambier, OH 43022, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time.

The project consists of roadway resurfacing and improvements. The advertisement for bids is posted on the Village of Gambier website. Plans and bidding documents can be viewed online through several plan rooms, including Allied Construction Industries, Construction Connect, Construction News Corporation, Dodge Data & Analytics, and The Blue Book Building & Construction.

Contract documents and specifications are available in electronic format from Decisive Dynamics at no charge by contacting Cole Zimmerman via phone or email. Only plan holders of record who notify the issuing office of their intent to bid will have their submissions accepted.

Bid security must be furnished according to the instructions to bidders. All bidders are required to comply with prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Licking County as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. The bid form must be completed in full for all line items.

No bids may be withdrawn for sixty days after opening. The Village reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and make awards as deemed in its best interest.
