On Friday, Feb. 27, former Mount Vernon High School (Ohio) standout Kayden Packard’s college team lost in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Friday, Feb. 27, former Mount Vernon High School (Ohio) standout Kayden Packard’s current college team, the Walsh Cavaliers, lost 3-9 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Frostburg State Bobcats.

The game took place at Monongalia County Baseball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 5 at 1 p.m. at Hawkins Field against Chowan Hawks.
