Cougar bowling teams compete at Crossroads League Tournament

The Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) men's and women's bowling teams participated in the Crossroads League Bowling Tournament 3 at Royal Pin Western in Indianapolis, Indiana, on February 4. The men's team secured sixth place among eight teams with a total of 5,085 pins. Josiah Casler led the team by finishing 29th overall with 606 pins. Benjamin Brubaker followed closely in 30th place with 604 pins, while Nick McGuire placed 47th with 508 pins.

On the women's side, MVNU also finished sixth out of eight teams, achieving a total of 4,610 pins. Abigail Larkin and Olivia Strait both scored 539 pins, placing them in 17th and 18th positions respectively. Brenna McTighe contributed to the team's effort by finishing in 25th place with a score of 518 pins.

The next competition for both teams will be at the Ohio Bowling Conference 4 in Columbus, Ohio on February 7. MVNU offers education to nearly 2,200 students from various states and countries, focusing on academic excellence and spiritual growth.
