The Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) women's basketball team faced a challenging game against Marian University in Indianapolis. Despite a strong effort, MVNU fell to the No. 5 ranked team with a final score of 94-42. The Knights took an early lead, finishing the first quarter at 25-5 and maintaining their advantage throughout the game.

Melodie Blubaugh was a standout for MVNU, achieving her career-high with 15 points. She also recorded four rebounds and one steal. Anna Swisshelm contributed ten points and five rebounds. Overall, MVNU shot 29.8% from the field and struggled with turnovers, which led to 44 points for Marian.
