Sophomore Olivia Strait from Mount Vernon Nazarene University has been named the Crossroads League Women's Bowler of the Week. This recognition follows her performance at the Ohio Bowling Conference 3, held on January 22 at Columbus Square Bowling Palace, where she secured a 10th place finish with 575 pins. Her efforts contributed to her team’s fifth-place finish out of 12 teams, totaling 4,667 pins.
Previously, Strait also placed 10th at the Crossroads League Bowling Tournament 1 on December 5, averaging a score of 163.67. Her consistent performances have helped MVNU maintain competitive standings in league events.
Due to adverse weather conditions, the scheduled Crossroads League Bowling Tournament 3 on January 24 was canceled. The next competition for MVNU will be the Crossroads League Bowling Tournament 4 in Jackson, Michigan on January 30.
