Mount Vernon Nazarene University men’s and women’s bowling teams | MVNU

The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's bowling teams participated in the Ohio Bowling Conference 3 at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace on January 22. The men's team finished eighth out of ten teams with a total of 2,913 pins, while the women's team secured seventh place with 2,535 pins.

Kobe Green led the men's team by finishing 19th with a total of 631 pins. Benjamin Brubaker and Josiah Casler followed, placing 31st and 38th with scores of 597 and 578, respectively. On the women's side, Olivia Strait achieved a top-ten finish by securing tenth place with 575 pins. Brenna McTighe finished in 15th place with a score of 553, and Abigail Larkin completed the top three for the Lady Cougars by placing 37th with a score of 467.

Due to concerns about incoming weather and travel conditions, MVNU will not participate in the Crossroads League Bowling Tournament scheduled for January 24. Instead, their next competition will be at the Ohio Bowling Conference 4 on February 7.
