Miguel Bello earns CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team honors

Miguel Bello, Men's Soccer | MVNU

Miguel Bello, a member of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) men's soccer team, has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team. This marks the first time Bello has received an All-American honor. The graduate student from Madrid, Spain, maintained a 4.0 GPA while pursuing his Master of Business Administration at MVNU.

Bello's performance on the field was equally impressive. He led MVNU in scoring with ten goals this season, ranking third in the Crossroads League. His contributions included four game-winning goals, one of which secured an upset victory over No. 20 Grace and earned him the title of Crossroads League Offensive Player of the Week. Additionally, Bello recorded four assists and ranked fourth in points with 24 and fifth in shots with 50 in the league.

Mount Vernon Nazarene University is a private Christian institution located in Mount Vernon, Ohio. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs to nearly 2,200 students from various states and countries. As a member of both the Crossroads League and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, MVNU emphasizes academic excellence and community service as part of its mission.
