Ralph L. Huggins, age 91, of Westerville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord and his beloved wife on September 23, 2025.

Born in Fredericktown, Ohio, Ralph was the son of Linn “Tommy” and Grace (Graham) Huggins.

A man of integrity, faith, and accomplishment, Ralph built a distinguished career in banking, serving more than 30 years as Vice President and Regional Manager at Huntington National Bank. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from The Ohio State University, where he was a proud member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Following graduation, Ralph served his country honorably as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Armor Branch. He later continued his education, earning a graduate degree in banking from the University of Wisconsin, and went on to serve as President of the American Institute of Banking, Columbus Chapter.

In retirement, Ralph and his wife, Jo Ellen, spent their years together in faith, fellowship, and adventure. They traveled the world—journeying through India and China and experiencing the thrill of African safaris—while remaining active in their church and community. A longtime member of Overbrook Presbyterian Church, Ralph served faithfully as a Deacon and was also a life member of the Ohio Eastern Star and the Ohio Masons.

Ralph was united in marriage to Jo Ellen (Kiracofe) Huggins for 61 wonderful years. He is survived by his daughter, Molly Huggins Beam (Tom), and two grandsons, Austin Huggins Beam and Griffin Thomas Beam, who will carry forward his legacy of faith, humility, and kindness.

A memorial service celebrating Ralph’s life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Overbrook Presbyterian Church, 4131 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at noon.
