Margaret Ann Frank, age 68, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on February 25, 1957, in Mount Vernon, Margaret was the daughter of the late Joann Patricia Dudley (Calendar). She married the love of her life, Gene A. Frank, on December 8, 1990, at Pleasant Grove Church of Christ in Mount Gilead. Together, they shared 21 wonderful years of marriage built on love, laughter, and devotion.
Margaret often said her greatest accomplishments in life were her two children, Crissy and Brian. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend—known for her warmth, humor, and boundless generosity. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by her family, ensuring that everyone she loved felt cared for and cherished.
Margaret’s compassion knew no bounds. She gave freely of her time, her care, and her heart to anyone in need. Her kindness touched countless lives, and her love served as a constant source of strength and comfort. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—a trip to Walmart, an iced coffee in hand, and Elvis playing in the background were all staples of her days.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and selflessness that will live on in her family’s hearts forever. Her spirit continues in the laughter of her children and grandchildren, in the stories shared around family tables, and in every act of kindness done in her memory.
Margaret is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Crissy (Clay) Ranson; her son and daughter-in-law, Brian (Hiedi) Robinson; grandchildren, Courtney (Travis) Robinson, Alexxus (Justice) Robinson, Taylor (Shawn) Osborne, Mikaela (Colby) Osborne, Bryla Robinson, Justin (Bobbie) Staats, Katelyn Robinson, Ethan Robinson, and Kiesha Frank; and great-grandchildren, Sawyer, NovaLeigh, Memphis Ivy, Suttyn, Scout Osborne, Elodie Hahn, Blake Shaffer, Rhett, Ryder, Harper Staats, Zakyus, Ezra Robinson, Markeis, Kimar, Ky’marious Johnson, and Messiah Frank. She is also survived by her brothers, Rick and Bill Dudley; her sisters, Debbie Johns and Cathy Dudley; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene A. Frank; her mother, Joann P. Dudley; and her brothers, Mike and John Dudley.
