Mount Vernon City Schools has announced it is seeking full-time Food Service Assistants for the 2025–26 academic year. The district states that this hiring initiative is part of its ongoing commitment to providing nutritious meals and supporting student well-being. Food Service Assistants are responsible for daily operations in school cafeterias throughout the district.
