Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. is set to celebrate the grand opening of its newly remodeled Goodwill Plaza in Newark, Ohio. The event will take place on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 245 Deo Drive. The complex features an 18,000 square foot retail store, a propane refill station, and a drive-up donation drop-off.
Timothy J. Young, CEO and President of Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc., said that the store will offer the largest selection of shoes and clothing among their locations. "This project has been a long time in the making," said Young. "The continued support from the community has helped make Goodwill Plaza a reality. We look forward to seeing the impact this location will make on the community and the lives of the individuals we serve."
The celebration will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:30 am. The first 100 adults entering will receive a free gift, with one winner getting a $100 Goodwill Gift Card. Door prizes and special promotions are planned throughout the day.
Store hours are set from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday through Saturday and from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Sunday.
