GOAL Digital Academy has achieved commendable ratings on the 2024-2025 Ohio State Report Card, reflecting its dedication to student achievement and graduation success. The report card from the Ohio Department of Education assesses schools based on Achievement, Progress, Gap Closing, and Graduation Rate. GOAL Digital Academy met or exceeded standards in all these areas.

As an online community school operating statewide, GOAL receives a tailored version of the state report card that takes into account its unique educational structure. This modified evaluation focuses on student growth, graduation outcomes, and subgroup performance.

The highlights from the report card include meeting standards in Achievement, which measures students' performance on required graduation assessments. In terms of Progress, which evaluates academic growth during the school year, GOAL also met standards. The Gap Closing component shows how well schools meet performance expectations for various student groups across subjects like English Language Arts and Math; here too, GOAL met standards.

GOAL excelled in Graduation Rate by exceeding state benchmarks across multiple timelines. The academy received "Exceeds Standards" ratings for years 4 through 8 and combined Graduation Rate measures, resulting in a 7% increase in graduation rates.

Superintendent Tish Jenkins commented on the results: "The report card results reaffirm that GOAL is delivering on its mission. Our dedicated staff have worked tirelessly to expand opportunities, strengthen programs, and elevate student success. We are proud to see our students growing, achieving, and graduating at rates that surpass expectations. This accomplishment is the result of a true community effort, teachers, families, and staff working hand in hand, and we are honored to celebrate this success together!"

GOAL Digital Academy operates as a public online school with a blended learning model across Central Ohio. It offers flexible education through seven learning labs designed to cater to each student's needs. More information can be found at www.goaldigital.org
