On Saturday, June 14, families and nature enthusiasts will have the opportunity to engage in an enriching outdoor experience at Lobdell Creeking.
The Licking Park District invites the community to the Lobdell Reserve Disc Golf Course for a chance to explore the waters of Lobdell Creek. The event is open to all and free of charge, requiring no prior registration.
Running from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., it offers ample time for exploration while fostering a shared appreciation for environmental stewardship.
The program will commence with a brief presentation at the shelter house at the Lobdell Disc Golf Course. After which, individuals and families will have the freedom to explore the creek at their own pace, and enjoy a scenic view. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about Lobdell Creek and enjoy recreational activities as they immerse themselves in the natural environment's beauty. However, this activity is dependent on weather conditions; attendees are advised to check forecasts in advance.
The Licking Park District manages 1,600 acres of parks and nature reserves, along with an extensive network of scenic trails.
